La Barcarolle by Jacques Offenbach is presented here in an arrangement for brass quintet.
Extracted from The Tales of Hoffmann, this famous melody is one of Offenbach’s best-known themes. Its gentle, lyrical and elegant character lends itself particularly well to the warm and rich sonorities of a brass quintet.
This La Barcarolle brass quintet arrangement brings out the melodic beauty and expressive qualities of one of the most recognisable works in the classical repertoire.
An ideal arrangement for concerts, ceremonies, weddings, cultural events and chamber music performances, allowing a brass ensemble to showcase the timeless melody and warm colours of Offenbach’s music.
